We’re excited to announce a major milestone for Reef Chain and its global community: both KuCoin and Poloniex have successfully transitioned to exclusively support the native version of $REEF on Reef Chain!

This marks a crucial step forward in our mission to unify $REEF token infrastructure and expand access to users worldwide.

Until now, some centralized exchanges offered only the legacy ERC-20 or BSC-20 version of $REEF, which made it difficult for users to move seamlessly into the Reef Chain ecosystem. With this upgrade:

• More users around the world can now access native $REEF directly

• Withdrawals and deposits now route natively to Reef Chain wallets

• Onboarding becomes simpler for new users who want to explore dApps, staking, and DeFi on Reef

• No more bridging required from Ethereum or other chains just to get started; acquire native $REEF easily at your favourite exchange

This unlocks tremendous opportunity for growth, both for the ecosystem and for every builder and token holder in the Reef community.

We want to extend our thanks to the teams at KuCoin and Poloniex for their collaboration and support throughout this process.

Both exchanges have taken the necessary steps to align with the Reef Chain infrastructure including reconfiguring their custody solutions, updating wallet integrations, and educating their user bases about the transition.

This is a powerful show of confidence in Reef’s long-term vision as a scalable Layer 1 blockchain built for everything.

If you’re a KuCoin or Poloniex user:

• You can now deposit and withdraw native $REEF directly to and from Reef Chain

• You can create a Reef wallet (browser extension, mobile app) and explore the ecosystem immediately

• You’ll benefit from faster transactions, lower fees, and access to native dApps — without needing the bridge

We encourage all users to verify they are using a Reef-native wallet address when withdrawing $REEF to explore the chain. You can find instructions and wallet links on our official site.

This successful migration is a continuation of all the hard work we began last year. As part of our ongoing roadmap, we are:
