Reef has already seen tremendous growth in its community, both on-chain and off-chain, and we’re ready to take it even further. Since our mainnet launch in 2021, thousands of individuals and organizations have been Reef Chain validators and nominators. Now, we’re stepping up our efforts to expand our community by increasing the number of active nominators!
New Milestone: 1500 Unique Nominators on Reef Chain
Our new milestone is 1500 unique nominators on Reef Chain. Today, we are already seeing an active and growing nominator base!
When we reach 1500 nominators, one lucky participant will be awarded at least 100,000 REEF!
Here are the details:
New prize pool starts at 100,000 REEF
Prize pool grows by 500 REEF per day until we reach the milestone
Final prize amount will be based on the active number of nominators displayed on the Reef Console at the time of reaching 1500 active nominators
How to Become a Nominator
Nominators play a crucial role in securing Reef Chain by bonding their tokens to validators through a process called bonding. By nominating a validator, you’re showing confidence in their ability to operate a secure Reef Chain node with high uptime, fast processing speeds, and responsible network participation.
One of the easiest ways to become a nominator is through Fearless Wallet. This mobile app, available for both Android and iOS, makes it incredibly easy to choose a validator and start nominating them.
Here’s a step-by-step tutorial on how to use StealthEX and Fearless Wallet to acquire REEF tokens and start nominating a validator on Reef Chain:
Once you’re set up, you’ll need to show proof! To prove you are nominating a validator and using Fearless Wallet, submit your wallet address and a screenshot of your Fearless Wallet via the Gleam link below!

Your screenshot must show a locked balance that matches the locked balance displayed on Reefscan.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this campaign, you must:
Follow @reef_chain and @reefswap on X (Twitter)
Start a nomination before we reach 1500 nominators
Stake a minimum of 50,000 REEF
Provide the transaction hash for your stake/nomination
Provide a screenshot of your stake in Fearless Wallet
Alternative Entry: Active Stakes on ReefScan and Reef Browser Extension
If you’re already staking Reef through ReefScan or the Reef browser extension, you can still qualify! To enter through this method:
Provide your wallet address
Submit a Reef Console screenshot as proof of your stake
If you’ve already been staking at least 50,000 REEF, you’re already ahead! Just show us your existing nomination/stake.
