# Reef's 1000 Nominator Challenge Starts Now

Here at Reef, we know that the size of our community, both off-chain and on-chain, is what leads to Reef Chain’s success. We have had thousands of individuals and organizations run Reef Chain validators and nominators since our mainnet went live in 2021. Now we want to take more steps to grow the number of community members participating as [nominators](https://docs.reef.io/docs/governance/nominators/).

One of the easiest ways to become a nominator is to use [Fearless Wallet](https://fearlesswallet.io/?utm_source=reef1000). Fearless Wallet is a wonderful mobile app, available for both Android and iOS, that makes it really easy to choose a validator and start nominating them!

Nominators help secure Reef Chain by bonding their tokens to validators through a process called bonding. By nominating a validator, you’re showing the rest of the community that you believe that validator can operate a secure Reef Chain node that has high uptime, can process blocks at high speeds, and generally is a good actor in the Reef ecosystem!

Here’s a full tutorial on how to use StealthEX and Fearless Wallet to get REEF tokens into your wallet and start nominating a validator on Reef Chain:

Our goal for this initiative is to reach 1000 unique nominators on Reef Chain. As of this writing, we stand at 812 nominators! This is our first step towards reaching more nominators, and then expanding the number of validators.

When we reach 1000 nominators, one lucky nominator will be **awarded at least 25,000 REEF**!

Starting immediately, the prize pool _grows by 500 REEF per day_, and the final amount will be determined when the milestone is reached.

To prove you have nominated a validator and are using Fearless Wallet, please submit your wallet address and a screenshot of your Fearless Wallet through [this secure form](https://gleam.io/AsoX4/reef-1000-nominators-challenge).

The screenshot must show a locked balance that matches the locked balance seen on Reefscan.

To be eligible for this campaign, you must do the following:

*   Follow [@reef\_chain](https://twitter.com/reef_chain?lang=en) and [@fearlesswallet](https://x.com/fearlesswallet) on X (Twitter)
    
*   Start a nomination prior to the day we reach 1000 nominators
    
*   Stake a minimum of 25000 REEF
    
*   Provide the transaction hash for your stake/nomination
    
*   Provide a screenshot of your stake in Fearless Wallet (see screenshot above for example)
    

Another way to win is to submit your current active stakes on ReefScan and Reef browser extension. In order to be eligible, you need to:

*   Import the same wallet into Fearless Wallet
    
*   Submit a screenshot as proof 
    

If you’re already staking Reef, and have the minimum amount above, you’re one step ahead — importing to Fearless Wallet will be quick and fast!
